Preparatory education: University of Notre Dame (B.B.A. Finance, 1972). Legal education: De Paul University, College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 1976); member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. Former trial attorney, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, 1976-1978. Former associate trial attorney: Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon. Former principal in litigation firms McLennon, Jackman & Crowe and McLennon & McFadden, Chicago, IL. (1979-2017), where father Paul A. McLennon, Sr and brother Thomas P. McLennon were "of counsel." The legal profession has been the family business for generations.
